The chosen programme includes a community centre, homeless shelter and social housing to be provided across two adjacent sites in the heart of Manchester, on Oldham Street.
The position I used to develop the design was focused on: responding to, and fitting in with the vernacular, providing multi-use, open spaces in a very built up area and creating a homely atmosphere for the homeless of Manchester.
